Warm up your winter weekend with an evening of "Mad Men" style vintage music and dancing! At 7:30 p.m., kick it off with a smooth-style Lindy Hop dance lesson by instructor Mike Quebec, aka "Do-Wop Daddy" (rockinswing.com). Then from 8:30 to 11:30, turn up the heat with three sets of live music by vintage rock 'n roll/rockabilly/R&B dance band Hot Rod Jukebox!
If you've never been to Travis Marina Bar, you're in for a treat. The views of the Golden Gate Bridge are spectacular. The classic wooden dance floor and vintage vibe make it perfect for a night of music, drinks, and dancing. Dressing up in 1960's styles is encouraged -- you'll have a blast!
All ages, $10 cover, cash only (under 18 free). Travis Marina has a full bar and serves light food.
Tickets may also be purchased on Eventbrite.
Travis Marina Bar is located at 600 Sommerville Road, Sausalito -- inside Fort Baker, near Cavallo Point and the Bay Area Discovery Museum
